I would like to start something new in the South Dakota Art Education Association Website by adding this blog! First and foremost, please congratulate Marica Shannon for her SD Art Teacher of the Year Award! Wonderful job Marica!

I know there is a lot to do, just to get ready for the next school year, like taking classes and preparing lessons and just getting new ideas from other art educators.
